IME SA provides a wide range of liquid analyzers using different analysis modules according to the characteristics of the liquids, the components you intend to analyse and the applications that they are designed for.
The Hydrazine Analyzer has its main applications in the continuous measurement of hydrazine levels in boiler feed-water, allowing automatic control of the dosing of this chemical compound. In this way, the analyser informs the exact dosage to be applied in the water according to the actual level costly corrosion damage caused by under-dosing.
With separate chambers for the sensor and the transmitter it is possible to analyse up to four wet sections with a single transmitter, which enables measurements of samples from different points in the feed-boiler line.
Therefore it is not only a compact and economic solution as the operators are able to mix and match other parameters such as the dissolved oxygen and sodium wet-solutions.
MEASURING PRINCIPLE:
- Electrochemical reaction of Hydrazine..
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Continuous measurement of the hydrazine levels in boiler feed-water;
- Monitoring dosing efficiency prior to economizer inlet.
KEY FEATURES:
- Fast response time by reducing the chemical costs through optimized dosing to feed-water;
- Low cost of ownership due to the low reagent consumption which provides up to 8 weeks continuous measurement and a pump-less design with no moving parts therefore reducing maintenance requirements;
- Simplified installation and commissioning with a processing unit which controls the sample flow at optimum level during pressure fluctuations;
- Automatic pH buffering and temperature compensation, which maintains accurate measurements during unstable process conditions, ensuring optimal dosing and minimizing chemical usage;
- Comprehensive diagnostics which provides sensor condition and analyser status data.
MEASURING RANGE:
MEASURING PERFORMANCE:
- Accuracy: ≤ ±3% of reading or ±1ppb (whichever is the greater);
- Repeatability: ≤ ±3% of reading or ±1ppb (whichever is greater);
- Resolution: 0,1ppb;
- Measurement units: ppb, µg/L and µg/kg.
