IME SA provides a wide range of liquid analyzers using different analytical modules depending on the characteristics of the liquids, the components to be analyzed and the applications for which they are intended.
The Silica Analyzer has its measurement principle based on colorimetric techniques. Characterized by a high level of innovation, it has in the liquid handling section the response to reduce operating costs, reducing the need for regular routine maintenance. It ensures an accurate and simple measurement of silica levels in the range of 0 to 5,000 ppb.
PRINCIPLE OF MEASURE:
- Optical sample measurement from colorimetry (molybdate) techniques.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Demineralization Applications in Power Plants and Process Industries, allowing the monitoring of the exhaustion process as well as water quality;
- Boiler systems, allowing the monitoring of the quality of the water in the drum, informing its level of contamination and protecting the blades of the turbine of accumulations.
FUNCTIONALITIES:
- Simplified liquid handling, consuming up to 90% less reagents and reducing the need for routine routine maintenance;
- Display with Windows-based option menu allows precise and intuitive use;
- Flexible communication from web and ftp connectivity, allowing remote viewing and configuration, Profibus DP v1.0 and
- Easy to file and transfer data from SD Memory Card;
- Automatic Calibration System;
- Automatic cleaning system;
- Allows up to 6 different flow sources, each programmable by the user in the range of 0 to 5,000 ppb;
- E-mail communication (up to a maximum of 6 recipients) when events selected by the user occur;
- Possibility of manual sample collection;
- Automatic scale start system
RANGE OF MEASUREMENT:
- 0 to 5000 ppb SiO2, with a minimum of 0 to 50 ppb.
CHARACTERIZATION OF THE MEASURE:
- Accuracy: <± 2% of the reading or ± 0.5 ppb (whichever is greater) in the range of 0 to 500 ppb, <± 5% of the reading in the range of 500 to 5,000 ppb;
- Repeatability: <± 2% of the reading or ± 0.5 ppb (whichever is greater) in the range of 0 to 500 ppb, <± 3% of reading in the range of 500 to 5000 ppb.
